2. Non-Medical & Spiritual Practice Disclaimer
Important Notice: Paint Yourself Happy is an expressive arts and spiritual mindfulness initiative. founder Joshua Merritt are ordained practitioners and artists—not licensed medical doctors, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, or state-licensed therapists. The AERR framework, intentional paintings, and workshops are intended solely for personal self-expression, creative enrichment, and spiritual exploration. They do not constitute and must not replace professional medical advice, clinical diagnosis, psychotherapy, or psychiatric treatment.
3. Membership Tiers & Auto-Renewal Billing
We offer paid monthly membership tiers (The Foundation at $29/mo, The Cog Worker at $79/mo, and The Privilege Mentorship at $199/mo) along with our free Open Canvas account:
- Recurring Billing: Paid memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor (Stripe) starting on the date of signup.
- Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Member Portal or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your membership benefits until the end of your current paid billing period.
- No Lock-In: There are no long-term contracts or cancellation penalties.
4. Custom Artwork, Intentional Paintings & Ash Memorials Terms
Clients commissioning custom Intentional Paintings or sacred Ash Memorials agree to the following terms and disclosures:
- Purchaser-Fueled Intentions: The intentions, spiritual meanings, color requests, and personal reflections embedded in custom Intentional Paintings are strictly established, brought, and fueled by the client/purchaser. Joshua Merritt acts strictly as the artist executing the client's creative aesthetic. Intentional paintings, crystal inclusions, and colors are not sold, represented, or guaranteed as medical cures, psychological interventions, or supernatural remedies.
- Legal Authority for Memorials: The client expressly represents and warrants that they possess full legal rights and authorization to possess and send the cremated remains of the human or pet being memorialized.
- Compliant Shipping: Clients agree to ship remains exclusively through USPS Priority Mail Express using official Cremated Remains packaging in accordance with federal shipping regulations.
- Unused Remains Return: We commit to treating all remains with sacred reverence and returning 100% of unused remains safely with the completed artwork.
- Limitation of Transit Liability: While we exercise highest diligence once materials are in our physical custody, Paint Yourself Happy cannot be held liable for third-party postal carrier delays, damage, or loss during transit.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this website—including book texts, manuscripts, workbooks, coloring book illustrations, artwork images, audio/video materials, and the proprietary AERR framework—is the intellectual property invented, authored, and owned by Joshua Merritt (Stract Studios). Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercialized without prior written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paint Yourself Happy, Stract Studios, and Joshua Merritt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the website, participation in creative workshops, or purchase of artistic goods.
